木のうつわは、使用後に中性洗剤で洗い、布巾で乾かして保管していただくことで、陶器やガラスの器と同様に長くお使いいただけます。

私たちの天然油仕上げの木のうつわは、あらかじめ蜜蝋と亜麻仁油を混ぜたワックスを塗り込んだあとに、皆様にお届けしています。亜麻仁油は乾燥すると硬化する種類の油ですので、これを塗り込んでおくことでツヤがでるだけでなく、水にも強くなります。

うつわを使い込んでいくうちに、ツヤを失ってしまったように感じる時には、うつわと一緒にお贈りしているワックスを塗布していただくことで、耐水性やキズへの耐久性を保つことができます。
長く使っていただき、こまめにお手入れをしていただくことで、色の変化や自然なツヤをお楽しみいただけます。


We recommend you use and enjoy your wooden tableware as you would any other tableware. After use simply clean with mild soap and water, and dry with a clean cloth.

Our bowls, plates, and trays are coated with a generous coat of food grade linseed oil.
Linseed oil is a slow drying oil, which will harden over time, adding a layer of protection against water and stains.

After using your wooden plates, trays, and bowls you may feel as if the wood has become more dry and has lost it's richness.
Over time and through repeated use, washing and drying, some of the oil will be drawn off of the surface. We provide a beeswax and linseed oil mix
with each purchase, allowing you to easily re-freshen your wooden wares.
Over time through regular use and care, your wooden tableware will develop a patina that we believe adds great value and warmth.
